Anticipation… and a little anxiety!
Hello all,
Here’s my blog! I leave for London on Sunday, and figured this is the easiest way to keep everyone updated on my three week adventure. At this point, I’m feeling excited and a little nervous. I’ve been looking forward to this trip since I was first notified I was accepted into the program in January, and can’t believe it has finally arrived!
For those of you who don’t know, I will be taking one class (International Public Relations) while I’m in London from May 15-June 5. The program is through University of North Carolina Charlotte, and we will have class Monday through Thursday from 9 am to 12 pm. Some classes will be lectures, others will be visits to local PR agencies or different communications departments, and some will have guest speakers. The mix of a schedule should be nice.
The weekends will be free to travel, and I am hoping to meet up with some high school and college friends who are also abroad. Another thing I’m really looking forward to is meeting all the other students on this program- it should be great!
I can’t wait to be in London, and will be do my best to keep this updated while I am there.
